K-12 Teachers

ACA is currently seeking teachers for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. The candidate must complete the hiring process listed below. All teachers must be pursuing or obtain a bachelors degree from an accredited institution.

Staff Checklist

  • Download an application HERE or pick one up at the ACA Front Office.

  • Once your application is received and reviewed, one of our team members will schedule an official 30 minute interview.

  • After the interview, administration will contact the references listed on the application. Applicants are encouraged to inform their references in advance to ensure timely and accurate communication. The reference checks help the school make informed decisions and maintain a high standard of integrity in the selection process.

  • All ACA staff are required to complete a BCI and FBI background check. This is to be completed every five years and is mandatory to be submitted by August 1st. You can find more information here.

    Note: We will provide you with the proper document when it is time to complete your background check.

  • Licensure Check through the Educator Profile on the Ohio State Board of Education Website

    1. Teachers: Ohio Teaching License or Permanent Non- Tax Certificate

    2. Support Staff: Educational Aid License or a Student Monitor Permit
